Q: How much are the homeowner association dues? A: Currently the homeowner association dues are $199.00 per year (2021). These funds are due every first of the year, and invoiced to each household by Real Property Management for collection. Modification to amount of dues is determined by the year end reports and varies slightly each year based on the contacts established for the next year.
Q: When will we find out about dues for the next year? A: Dues are reviewed along with the annual budget for the next year. This review takes place every November. When the budget is reviewed, and approved by the Board of Directors, the yearly dues are established for the next calendar year. Notification to the community will be made as soon as the review and approval of the budget has been completed.

COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENTS AND CONTRACTS
Q: What is up with the multi-colored street light poles? A: The Resident Board of Directors is aware of the light poles in "sections 1 & 2" that are fading due to bad paint. We are currently working with the City of Columbus to resolve the problem. *** STREET POLES THAT WERE IN NEED OF PAINT WERE COMPLETED THE SECOND WEEK OF AUGUST ***
Q: What do I do if a street light is out in front of my house? A: If there is a streetlight out, more that the likely the Board of Directors knows (or will soon know) if the light is out. The community is inspected every week for lights out, and will be handled by the City of Columbus Electric Division. However, if you do have a light out, free free to contact the HOA for repair. Generally lights that are out are replaced with in 3-5 days of notification. (But, is not unusual for the light to repaired the next day after notification).
You can also contact the City of Columbus 311 call center for repair.
Q: What happened to the playground that M/I promised us ?!?!? A: This has been a topic of conversation for sometime now from this current Board, the previous Board, and the developer. It has been determined that having a playground in the community at this present time brings too much liability to the HOA. Just having the playground in the community would result is extremely high insurance premiums for the HOA. Also, the original plan to have a playground near the main gazebo was dismissed at many levels, because of the close proximity of the pond, and the safety concerns that might associate with the pond. The Board of Directors is constantly evaluating the addition of the playground. However, all options and liabilities must be addressed before this option will be taken.
*** UPDATED *** - THE PLAYGROUND WAS APPROVED AND INSTALLED ON AUGUST 11th, 2008 IN THE REDSAND COMMON AREA.
COMMUNITY GUIDELINES
Q: Is there fishing allowed in the community ponds? A: No. Fishing is not allowed in any of the community ponds. Fishing in the community has resulted in a large amount of trash in and around the ponds. It has also resulted in several injured and dead wildlife animals. Also, fishing can cause damage to the fountains and fixtures in the ponds.
Q: I need to repair / replace my mailbox. Who do I contact? A: You can contact CEDAR CRAFT. Their contact number is 614-759-1600.
Q: What is the correct color my mailbox is supposed to be? A: The Resident Board of Directors believes that the resident is the best one to decide what shade their mailbox should be based on their personal taste and also best to match their home. As a result there is no set shade of what the mailbox should be. However, the community guideline is to have the mailbox stained with a shade of brown.
